Five and Dime

Per the plan, tomorrow will feature 4.5, 5. and 10 mile routes.  10 miles start at 6:30, 4.5 and 5 start at 7:20.  Backward (and forward) 5K training happens at 8:15.  DISCLAIMER: There is no way that this is going to end well.  You will fall and hit your head. Sounds fun!

Backwards 5K

For anybody interested in a 5K, we're going to start training for a backwards 5K.  Those interested in a frontwards 5K are also welcome. We'll start this Saturday with a quarterish mile backwards to be run after the long run.  This is a great way to stretch out after the long run and develop some weird talents. We'll decide which 5K to race in when we get closer to the full distance.

Race Plans are up!

The HNL group decided the FCA Endurance Multisport Weekend was the race to train for.  If you've not registered, do it here.

If you want to know what distances our group will be using to prepare for the big day, check out the 13.1 plan page above.  There are three plans to choose from and the goal is to offer each plan their distance the Saturday runs leading up to the race.  Please use the quotes next to the plan name to help you decide your attitude and desire to survive race day on April 25, 2015.

I've got other business in Birmingham this Saturday so HNL needs a leader for this Saturday! Who's going to step up?
