3 Mile Island - DRAKE - Early option

We'll have four loops tomorrow, all on the same route.  The photo below shows the approximate 3 mile route from Drake, along the entire length of Flat Creek, the path next to Peachtree Parkway, then into The Highlands, onto the path back to the start.  We will start each loop on the half hour with different types of run for each loop.  Should be fun and a great spot for beginners to jump in!

6:30 - Timed Easy Run - No front to backs, time your loop
7:00 - Paired Race - Pair up with someone of similar speed, one of those runners runs the course in reverse. Its a race.
7:30 - Indian Run - Similar pace groups, Indian run the loop
8:00 - Timed Tempo Run - No front to backs, beat loop 1

For anyone interested, there will be a 60 min early group leaving Drake at 5:30 for a 60 min loop led by Scott Porter!

Early Saturday Options! 5/14/16 - NEW LOCATION OAK GROVE ELEMENTARY

Some of us have an early start tomorrow so we've got some early options at a different start location, Oak Grove Elementary.  The school is on Crosstown Road in Peachtree City.

5:30 - 60 min

6:30 - 30 min

7:00 - 30 min

7:30 - 30 min

The 7:00 and 7:30 loops need a leader.  Be the loop leading change you want to see in the world.

Should be a great morning for fellowship and running.  Be there!

Saturday Run Info - Atlanta Mission - My Sisters House

Great opportunity to help out tomorrow!  We will have three loops and plenty of running goodness for beginners and returners to get off your ass and get to Drake for a worthy cause!

6:30 - 30 min
7:00 - 60 min
8:00 - 1 Mile Loop Run

Will be collecting feminine hygiene products for the Atlanta Mission's My Sisters House. They have a particular need for these products and we can make a real impact here. For homeless women, menstruation can be a miserable time if they don't have access to the basic items the rest of society wouldn't think twice about. Please pick up some tampons, pads, or both and bring them to the run this Saturday. We'll deliver the items next week. If HNL comes through like they did for the art supplies for CHOA, the snacks for needy kids, or the pizza party for the ENTIRE pediatric cancer and blood disorder center, this is going to be awesome. You guys are the best and these costly items will bring a small measure of comfort for a population which is sometimes marginalized TWICE. Lets make this happen!
